Rental proposals will be received by Oxford County for the rental of the following rural properties:
- Parcels A, B, C, D — Salford Buffer Zone
- Parcel E — Thornton Wellfield
- Parcel F, G — Thornton Wellfield
- Parcel H — Holbrook Landfill
- Parcel I — Norwich Lagoons
- Parcel J—Plattsville Lagoons
- Parcel K — Tavistock Lagoons
Rental proposal documents may be obtained from Customer Service at the address below or on the Oxford County website at no cost beginning Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

Watermain flushing
Having 100% groundwater as our drinking water source means that mineral build-up in our distribution system is common. Regular watermain flushing helps maintain drinking water quality by removing build-up and mineral deposits in the distribution system.
Oxford County Water Operations performs watermain flushing twice a year by forcing water through watermains at high speed and discharging it through hydrants and blow-offs. The fast-moving water washes away any sediment.

For Invasive Plant Species Roadside (Phragmites) Control Program
Oxford County will be applying pesticide along rural roadsides to control Phragmites, an invasive plant species, under the Public Works exception for the promotion of health and safety. The pesticide application will take place in the Townships of Blandford-Blenheim, East Zorra-Tavistock, Norwich, South-West Oxford, Zorra, Town of Tillsonburg, Town of Ingersoll and City of Woodstock.
