Norwich WWTP Capacity Expansion Class EA Study
Status: In Progress
Purpose
To comprehensively develop, evaluate and select a preferred long-term wastewater servicing solution and wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) design alternative to service existing needs and future projected population and employment growth to 2046 in the community of Norwich.
Scope
This Schedule C Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) Study will evaluate alternative solutions, with consideration for the natural, cultural, social, economic and technical environments, to develop a preferred WWTP capacity expansion design concept in consultation with the public, Indigenous communities, and regulatory agencies.
Public consultation
As the Project Team reviews and updates this study, it is important to engage with the public to identify the community’s servicing needs and priorities. Members of the public are invited and encouraged to comment on the project at any time during the Study.

- Attending a future Public Consultation Centre (PCC). PCCs will be held at various locations around the County. More details about the PCCs will be provided as they become available
