Flags will fly at half-mast on Friday, December 6, at all Oxford County-owned facilities to mark the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.
The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women is about remembering those who have experienced gender-based violence and those we have lost to it. It is also a time to take action.

All Canada Post mail delivery has been paused due to the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) national strike. This impacts some Oxford County services.

In January 2023, Oxford County Council endorsed an application by Oxford County/ Woodingford Lodge to build a 160 net new-bed long-term care home in Ingersoll, for a total of 194 County-operated beds inclusive of the existing 34 beds in Ingersoll now. Our plan drew on the strength of our partnerships with Alexandra Hospital Ingersoll and the Town of Ingersoll, and was dependent on funding support from the provincial government to build the home.
