Remembrance Day is a day for Canadians to honour the people who have served and are still serving Canada in times of war, military conflict and peace. Please pause at 11:00 a.m. on November 11 to remember those who have sacrificed their lives for our country

Province hosting telephone Town Hall meetings on abandoned oil and gas wells

The Ministry of Natural Resources wants to hear from private landowners in Oxford County who may have old or inactive wells on their property or in their community.
The Ministry is hosting a Telephone Town Hall in the Counties of Elgin, Lambton, Middlesex, and Oxford. Residents in potentially affected areas of Oxford County will receive automated phone calls with voicemail instructions on how to join the Town Hall.

The road safety improvements at the Punkeydoodles Corners intersection are complete.
The road safety improvements at Road 101A and Perth Road 101 (Oxford Road 24) include a realignment of the intersections, pavement reconstruction with new deceleration and turning lanes, additional street lighting, and enhanced signage.
